      The CORRECT answer is :
"From Windows Server Backup, perform a system state backup"
NOT "From Windows PowerShell, run the Backup-GPO cmdlet."

      http://blog.powershell.no/category/group-policy/

Important: Since Group Policy links are stored on the Organizational Unit objects in Active Directory, this information are not backup up and also not restore. However, the HTML backup-reports contains this information, so you may manually re-link the GPO to the correct OU(s).

Also note that WMI filters and IPSec policies are not backed up by the backup feature in the Group Policy Management Console. For more information on how to manage these items, see the before mentioned Group Policy Planning and Deployment Guide.

@ Hossam. I took the test today to and got the same score as you. 644. I agree. None of these sample tests on here represent the actual exam very well. Only some questions that I studied for were on the actual exam.

      Q. what should you use to add an additional user principal name (UPN) suffix to the forest
Correct Answer : A. The active Directory Domains and Trusts console
      B is the wrong answer

I agree with A as the answer. I also might add that I didn't find any serious explanation why B should be the correct answer.

      @ sicko from Portugal:
I think the answer is "Active Directory Rights Management Services", based on what I read in Microsoft Technet's website. Here are the links:
      http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc720273(v=WS.10).aspx
      http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc747713(v=ws.10).aspx
      Wish it is helpful.

Guys can you tell me which answer is right?

Your network contains a server named Server1. The Active Directory Rights Management Services (AD RMS) server role is installed on Server1.
An administrator changes the password of the user account that is used by AD RMS. You need to update AD RMS to use the new password.

      Which console should you use?

      Active Directory Rights Management Services

      Active Directory Users and Computers

      Local Users and Groups

      Services

Ibulaye is right! I think you must do a system state backup in order to save GPO links!

      Anyone?

    • Ibulaye from United States 01 31 2012, 1:57 AM Report Spam
I still not agree with the answer given in the dump. Plus the explanation given is http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee461027.aspx.

I read several time the technet article and I have not seen mentioned in it that Backup-GPO backup the GPO Permissions.

Also http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc784474%28WS.10%29.aspx is not that clear.

Someone need to confirm the right answer.

    • MeMeMe from Poland 01 30 2012, 9:44 AM Report Spam
      Another mistake :

"Your nertwork contains an Active Directory domain.

You nee to back up all of the Group Policy objects (GPOs) Group Policy permissions, and Group Policy links for the domain.

      What should you do?"

      Should have looked at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc784474%28WS.10%29.aspx

      instead of http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee461027.aspx

      The CORRECT answer is :
"From Windows Server Backup, perform a system state backup"
NOT "From Windows PowerShell, run the Backup-GPO cmdlet."

    • MeMeMe from Poland 01 29 2012, 4:00 PM Report Spam
      According to :

      http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc725838.aspx

      answer to the question :

"Your nerwork contains an Active Directory domain named contoso.com. Contoso.com contains a member server that runs Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard.

You need to create an enterprise subordinate certification authority (CA) that can issue certidicates based on version 3 certificate templates. You must achieve this goal by using the minimun amount of administrative effort.

      What should you do first?"

      is WRONG.

      [quoute]

      Version 3 certificate templates

In addition to version 2 template features and autoenrollment, version 3 certificate templates provide support for Suite B cryptographic algorithms. Suite B was created by the U.S. National Security Agency to specify cryptographic algorithms that must be used by U.S. government agencies to secure confidential information.

      Template availability

Windows Server 2008 R2, all editions
