Just got back, scored 899 / 1000. I used a combination of dumps to study. But beware; quite a lot of the answers in the dumps are incorrect. So answer the question how you would answer it. If your answer is faulty, search for the correct answer instead of trusting the answer given in the dump. Your answer might have been correct to start with. Enough SharePoint experience is a must for this one, when you only rely on the dumps you're not going to pass.

Your company uses Microsoft SharePoint Online.

You have a private site collection named Site1.

You need to provide anonymous access to several documents and webpages. The solution must use the minimum amount of administrative effort.

Answer: D. Create a public website site collection.

It's possible to grant access on an existing site collection to external users, but those will always be authenticated. You cannot change an existing private collection to become public, so the only right answer is creating a new public site collection.

You plan to deploy a SharePoint Server 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) server farm.

You need to recommend a solution for My Site to meet the following requirements:
      - The My Site users of users in the sales department must have URLs that start with http://sales.contoso.com/users
      - All other My Site sites must have URLs that start with http://intranet.contoso.com/mysites

What should you include in the recommendation?

Answer: B, two User Profile Service service applications and two managed paths.

MySite URL is a setting on user profile SA level, so setting two URLs will require two service applications. And because both URLs will also require a managed path to deploy the sites to, you need two of those.

You have a SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3) server farm.

The farm uses a database server named SQL1. SQL1 runs the 32-bit version of Windows Server 2003 R2 and has Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP3 installed.

You need to recommend which steos are required to upgrade the farm to SharePoint 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1).

      What should you do?

Since the SQL Server machine cannot be used for 2010 (32 bit is supported for 2007, but not 2010), upgrading it is pointless. Therefore, the first two answers are bogus. Upgrading 2003 to 2010 directly isn't supported, so the right sequence should be:

      - Deploy a SharePoint 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2) server farm.
      - Perform a database attached upgrade of the content databases to SharePoint Server 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
      - Deploy a SharePoint 2010 Service Pack 1 (SP1) server farm.
      - Perform a database attached upgrade of the content databases to SharePoint Server 2010 SP1.

@chris I believe for the second question (solutions), the answer should be farm – farm – user. The first solution connects to a SQL server database, which cannot be done from within the sandbox as far as I know. You plan to deploy the business intelligence portal on a server that has SharePoint server 2010 SP1 installed.
You identify the following requirements for the planned deployment:
      1. Users must be able to connect to the portal by using windows live ID
      2. When any user access a PerformancePoint dashboard, PerformancePoint data must be retrieved by using single user account .

Users must be able to connect using Windows Live ID (Claims based Authentication)
When any users access a PerformancePoint dashboard and data must be access by single user (Secure Store service application
      )

Your Company is evaluating the development of the three SharePoint solutions Sol1, Sol2 and Sol3.
You identified the following requirements from the each custom solution
Which type of the solution should you recommend?

      Sol1 User solution
      Sol2 Farm solution
      Sol3 User solution

Farm1 dedicated to hosting shared services
