      Derevo is correct:

      http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps4324/white_paper_c11-533069_ps4324_Products_White_Paper.html

      This should settle it:
Voice – Smooth, Drop Sensitive, Delay Sensitive, UDP Priority
Video – Bursty, Drop Sensitive, Somewhat Delay Sensitive, UDP unicast or multicast
Data – Smooth/Bursty, Drop Insensitive, Delay Insensitive, TCP/UDP

Directly from a Call Manager 6 im working with…

Reset InformationSelected Device: 2 devices selected
If a device is not registered with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, you cannot reset or restart it. If a device is registered, to restart a device without shutting it down, click the Restart button. To shut down a device and bring it back up, click the Reset button. To return to the previous window without resetting/restarting the device, click Close.

      Note:
Resetting a gateway/trunk/media devices drops any calls in progress that are using that gateway/trunk/media devices. Restarting a gateway/media devices tries to preserve the calls in progress that are using that gateway/media devices, if possible. Other devices wait until calls are complete before restarting or resetting. Resetting/restarting a H323 device does not physically reset/restart the hardware; it only reinitializes the configuration loaded by Cisco Unified Communications Manager.

This CISCO questions are abusive. Even knowing the process you are not sure what is the correct one. CISCO WANTS YOUR MOMENY

For the CTI question you are right, the correct one is Desk-phone. Control device from CTI checkbox should be UNCHECKED when you configure it for softphone and CHECKED when it is for Deskphone.

About the restart/reset question. I think the correct is restart because it does not say cold reboot, it says BRIEFLY lost registration with call manager, and restart does that, lose the registration with call manager for changes made to apply them (this is the most fast method, when reset reboots the whole phone, and that is not briefly). Hope it helps!

Another problem found with question: "In which mode is CTI used with Cisco Unified Personal Communicator ? "
Beto says "soft-phone mode" and ETHAN says "desk-phone mode"

I believe ETHAN is right. Why? Because of this web page: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cupc/1_2/english/installation/guide/reqserv.html#wp1089671

Correct me if I'm wrong because with this one I'm still not 101% sure ;)

Hey lads! BE AWARE OF WRONG ANSWERS here in this DUMP!

An example question: "When you reset an IP phone via the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration page, which method briefly shuts down a registered phone and brings it back up?"

When you hit ANSWER button in this test, it shows a correct answer as RESTART, which I believe is WRONG. Why?
Because RESTART does not shuts down the entire phone! As it is written in the CISCO BOOK, Chapter 5, page 165
" The restart command does a warm boor of the IP phone. The phone reboots, but keeps its existing IP address and TFTP configuration files"
      Further on you can read:
"The reset command does a hard reboot of the IP phone."

If you check the DUMP provided by ETHAN, there is the correct answer as well.

But ETHAN's dump has its bugs as well ;)
      Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi Guys I was wondering about this question:

"Users report that when they press the Messages button on their phones, they often get a busy tone. Which option can rectify this issue?

      A. Disable the Callers Can Edit Messages check box under Message settings.
      B. The CSS for the phones does not contain the voice-mail port partitions.
      C. The CSS for the phones does not contain the voice-mail pilot partition.
      D. Precede all Cisco Unity Connection greetings to announce that each message is limited to 90 seconds long to free up voicemail-ports."

Due to the word "often" being used, would the answer not be D?

Agree with Cesar, voicedude, George and others below.

No question was from outside this dump. Passed with flying colors today 965/1000. Seems like a couple of questions in dumps have incorrect answers because I surely marked all of them with same answers. One of them could be the question which had 'Call Pickup softkey only' as the answer. There is no such softkey as 'Call Pickup'. The answer should have been 'Pickup softkey only'

Thanks examcollection and Thank You everyone here for helping each one out with your sincere comments :-)
