      mdu,
/26 mask splits network into 4 subnets:
      192.168.4.0
      192.168.4.64
      192.168.4.128
      192.168.4.192
first and last addresses in every subnet can't be used for hosts

so we have 4 address ranges available for hosts 1-62, 65-126, 129-190, 193-254
now you just check all answers and pick 2 IPs, residing in same range:
      192.168.4.125 and 192.168.4.67

Good day -Please explain the answer to me – An administrator is working with the 192.168.4.0 network ,which has been subnetted with /26 mask.Which two addresses can be assigned to hosts within the same subnet?(choose two)
      either 192.168.4.132 or 192.168.4.128,192.168.4.125,192.168.4.67,192.168.4.63 or 192.168.4.61.

      Thanks!

Only about 10-15 questions from this dump for INCD1. No simulation from here. If i relied solely on this dump – 100% FAIL. Better use this: http://www.examcollection.com/cisco/Cisco.Lead2pass.100-101.v2013-07-22.by.Spike.105q.vce.file.html

      Still valid.
Around 10 questions out of this dump.

Still valid. Passed with 9xx. 80 – 90 % from this dump. One word of advice, in the questions that give you a mac table and ask what will switch do with packet, make sure you check that the destination address is actually missing from the table. I got the question both ways, one with it missing, one with it listed. An easy way to drop an easy question just because you assume it is like the dump

Thanks Hutch, was just coming here to ask about that exact question. Taking test tomorrow, wish me luck
    • ciscoboy from United States 08 04 2013, 6:50 AM Report Spam
Passed the test today. About 70-80% from here. About 5-8 questions were not. The other questions are from the simulator. I got lucky with simulator. All kind of easy. SPEED is the key. I was at my last question and it had to be a simulator with 5 minutes remaining. I was sweating bullets. I got 912 also. Try to get as many different questions as possible.

Ok, I can't keep quiet about this any longer. Check out this question that has shown up multiple times, with the same incorrectly marked answer:

The network administrator is configuring a Cisco router. The prompt on the screen is: Router(config-if)#
What is true about this prompt? (choose three)
      a. An interface password can be set at this prompt (WRONG)
      b. Settings that affect all router interfaces can be globally configured at this prompt (WRONG)
      c. An interface can be activated or deactivated from this prompt (CORRECT)
      d. The administrator will arrive at this prompt by typing interface fa0/0 from global configuration mode (CORRECT)
      e. The administrator will arrive at this prompt by typing configure terminal from the EXEC prompt (WRONG)
      f. An interface IP address can be configured at this prompt (CORRECT)

When you show the answers, it shows f. as an incorrect answer and e. as a correct answer. That can't be right. Typing configure terminal from the EXEC prompt simply puts you in global config mode: Router(config)#

This has come up like this mulitple times. I hope someone fixes it later on.

Still pretty much valid good luck folks. But don't rely only on dumps study the guide as well for knowledge and packet tracer for good practice. CBTNuggets as well, Jeremy is a great lecturer.

Passed today with 950. About 70% of the questions were from the recent dumps. So it helps to have a thorough grounding in all the core subjects and not too rely totally on the dumps. There was a sim question about router and switch configs that I hadn't come across and the following one covered by 9Tut:

      http://www.9tut.com/65-ccna-drag-and-drop-sim-question

I also went over these from 9Tut though they never came up:

      http://www.9tut.com/66-ccna-implementation-sim
      http://www.9tut.com/59-ccna-configuration-sim-question

Overall I used CBT nuggets, The Wendell Odem book, 9Tut and the dumps.

@drunkmonk It actually does yes, thanks very much!!!
    • drunkmonk from Ireland 06 20 2013, 8:11 PM Report Spam
      @Charlie
      256
      -224
      = 32
This means the network addresses increase by 32, therefore the subnet, broadcast and valid IP addresses for each subnet are:
Network IP | Valid IPs |Broadcast IP
      0 | 1 – 30 | 31
      32 | 33 – 62 | 63
      64 | 65 – 94 | 95
      96

      and so on……..

      So taking your example:

      192.168.2.63 = not valid as it's a broadcast IP
192.168.2.62 = Valid last available IP in subnet
192.168.2.61 = not valid as it's the second to last IP in subnet
192.168.2.60 = not valid as it's the third to last IP in subnet
      192.168.2.32 = not valid as it's a network address

I hope that makes sense :)

    • Charlie from Ireland 06 20 2013, 1:03 PM Report Spam
Which one of the following IP addresses is the last valid host in the subnet using mask 255.255.255.224 and why? I know that this is probably very easy but I can't get my head around why the answer is .62

      192.168.2.63
      192.168.2.62
      192.168.2.61
      192.168.2.60
      192.168.2.32

      Score: 775

This dump and Cisco Lead2Pass 640-822 v2012-12-09 by ICND1 399q.vce are valid. I did not fail because of a lack or study or a bad dump. I failed because I went blank for the first 15 minutes of the test. I didn't want to waste time and for the first 10 questions selected random answers (they were testlets). If I was able to review past questions then I could have made corrections.

No big deal. I will retake next week at a different testing center with less noise and people. But overall this is a good dump and so is Cisco Lead2Pass 640-822 v2012-12-09 by ICND1 399q.vce

and this dump. Had almost 10-15 new questions.

Passed CCNA in 2010 but having to renew ccna again before going onto CCNP. How close is dump? To address 'Devo' the new ccna tests are 'somewhat' different as it covers more ipv6 concepts and some terms learned in ccnp and deeper wireless technologies such as cellular. You can get the objectives on Cisco's site to compare.

Does anyone have any info on the new icnd1 100-101? What sims are on it? or if it has any of the same questions as the 640-822? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Passed today. Dumps are still there. Big simulator was putting router models, ip, and interface in right spot. Know cdp neighbors detail command and run config to find them. They changed the dumps a little on test but still same concept. I studied odems icnd1 and 9tut,and pass4 sure, and this site. Dumps helped the most tho. Good luck all. Thanks 4 the help. On to icnd2.
